I have friends I don't see for years at a time but when I do see them we can just pick up where we left off as if I'd only seen them yesterday. That I think is the mark of a true friendship...

I felt less close to you because of all the distance... but now I think you're right. We can still be close even when we don't talk as much. I think if we talked all the time we'd eventually get sick of each other.
