I would be hard pressed to name any screen actor or actress for that matter, staying married to the same partner for their whole life. Some from the 30ies maybe, though not a great many. And not from the states but from Europe.
Job seems to be a marriage killer.
I don't know if it's the job of acting or just being so public. Imagine if there were headlines when every plumber got divorced, let's just imagine press dismissing actors and only focusing when plumbers get divorced. I mean I haven't looked into the numbers.
Similar with drugs. I gather that lots of people think that actors are more likely to be taking illegal drugs but actually job that is has most drug addicts are medical doctors, but you don't see newspapers writing about every doctor getting stoned.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
