What's important is the quality of the media you consume, not the genre. I'm a guy and I've been watching romance shows since high school. Some of them are really good, I don't care if they're "girly" or whatever. I'd rather watch a Fruits Basket or a Toradora over the umpteenth shonen action series to come out in a given season.
Endride fucking sucks. Ouran High will always be good. I don't have to be a girl to appreciate that.
On that note, Sweetness and Lighting! It's uncomplicated and cute, and a really good way to relax if you happen to be anxiety prone like I am. It also has the Shark Song, which is a net positive for the entire world.
