I can't say I'm familiar with the concept you mentioned and its terminology. I do believe that the well-being of many results in the well-being of all in the sense that if one person can make a hundred happy by giving something small up, that person will be happier giving that thing up. I hold some pretty fringe theories when it comes to this. Did you hear about Musk's dedication to making us an interplanetary civilization?
