Some people may be considered "corrupt", but to just be okay with raping women and smashing children if their people don't change their ways is far from love. That's not a good punishment for displeasing anyone.
Please define love in your own words.
No, my God would warn Humanity of what is to come so to give them a second chance at life using prophets. He didn't personally do those actions he just dropped his favor from them and allowed the enemies of babylon to do what they will.
Love is God and God is Love. Love is not forced. 4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails.
"The Lord your God is a jealous God."
"I form the light and create darkness, I bring prosperity and create disaster."
Where was God's protection, hope, and perseverance when he gave up on all humanity but one family and flooded the earth?
Love is an emotion, God is supposed to be a being. Do you God your parents? Do you God ice cream? God is depicted as a being with a range of emotions, not just love. He is wrathful, he is forgiving, he is vengeful, he is merciful, he regrets, he frequently seems surprised by what people do despite having been aware they were going to do it since the beginning of time, etc. It's ridiculous to pretend 'God' and 'love' are synonyms.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.
