Another Circumcision thread

Sure, it's easier when they are infants. That doesn't mean the choice belongs to the parents (which was the point of my question). In a previous post I related it to removing the appendix, so I'll bring that up again now. The appendix can cause a lot of problems later in life. It can be argued that it would be better to take it out early on before it becomes an issue. Should that also be the choice of the parents?

I don't know anything about appendixes or appendix removal, but it sounds like it would be a much more invasive procedure than a circ. For that reason, I would say it probably isn't worth it to remove it just for preventative purposes.

It's still much easier to do it now than later, which was the whole point of your last post.
