It's still much easier to do it now than later, which was the whole point of your last post.

Well, the whole point is to weigh the pros and cons. 

Personally, I don't see it as a pro to do a major surgery unless it is necessary. Even if it's harder later on, the procedure is severe enough that I don't think it'd be worth doing unless it was really needed. If it was a simple procedure, that would be different.

Okay. So back to my original point then. Should these pros and cons be in the hands of the parents? Other parents could see these pros and cons about the appendix differently than you. Would you judge them for weighing the pros and cons differently and removing their child's appendix?
