If anything, where science seems to agree is that there is no medical reason for urgency. Even if we accept that circumcised penises are easier to clean and are less susceptible to disease, the fact is, before the age of 10 (on average), the foreskin is physically attached to the glans of the penis, so there's no way for bacteria / dirt to get under it. That means that for an average of 10 years, there are no cleanliness benefits for circumcised boys over uncircumcised boys.
