RE: reason and fl studio

I use FL very much, and am in fact using it today to make some EDM. I can probably be of some use.
I'm aware of Reason, but haven't used it much. I probably won't be of much use.
If you're trying to figure out which one to buy, then I don't know, but I can strongly recommend FL. It feels good, it's easy to use, and it's SO goddamned pretty (the following is a screencap of the song I'm making now):

And here's Reason, which to me looks like an 80's PC magazine threw up on the screen (not my song, found on google):

Overall, my impression is that Reason seems to be leaning toward modeling a physical system: virtual cables, a complex mixer with lots of knobs and buttons, where as FL takes a more software approach: easy editing of envelopes and curves, very nice sequencing options and appearance, etc.
