What I was confused about but I've kind of had it cleared up now is the cost of the products.
It's well known that fl studio is cheaper than reason.
But then I compared the two and fl studio seemed to cost over double the price of reason, now I've realized that people don't tend to buy the most expensive version because it comes with plugins that not many people use.
The plugins that people do tend to use do cost quite a bit of money though. Sylenth, dada life sausage and massive.
Obviously there's some piracy going on. If you have teenagers online saying they're using fl studio with these two synths but sometimes they use reason or Cubase.
Unless they have over a grand to spare on music making programs.
Not that I'm taking the moral high ground. I managed to get fl studio 11 for cheaper than 12. Now I'm working on getting these three synths.
