Another Circumcision thread

Nonetheless I'm on the side of individual freedom where male circumcision is concerned even though I'm against if for females.  That is because, from what I understand, it is much worse long term for girls.

Yes, the extreme forms of FGM (including removal of labia) are certainly more extreme than standard male circumcision. But then, is removal of just the clitoral glans ok? Yes or no?

I strongly doubt it.  So long as the law is on the side of no female genital mutilation, I guess it doesn't really matter.  But that does sound pretty awful in an ongoing way to me.
