I think taking part in a beauty pageant is retarded anyways although I do not support that a Muslim should be stoned to death for this. This is not even a crime.
Also, the actions of some Muslims =/= Islam. Some will take verses out of context to support violent interpretations, and what these "Muslims" is not in agreement with Islam because there is no such law in the Quran or Sunnah which says that a woman should be *killed* for displaying her body in public. And furthermore, all punishments should be carried out by the Islamic State government (after court and trail), not by two or three Muslims, unlike in the case that you presented here.
For the record, I agree with you about beauty contests. Do you think this young woman deserved punishment for participating? If so, please tell what punishment?
