CIJS- I don't know how to deal with people like you. I don't know why you think I'm here to make you look bad. I just came to do my job. I've never said or implied that you don't know how to do yours. I'm sure you're great at it, and if all these kids and their parents could speak English I'm sure you'd have a handle on them too. That fact is that they don't and you don't. I'm not looking down on you for that. When I see 60% of the esol students under you were held back last year, that's a problem. These kids need to have someone who can communicate with them and their parents so everyone can be involved in helping them get on track with their education. They deserve to have the same help everyone else gets and you can't give that to them. I have never thought anything negative about you for that. My job is to help kids who need the kind of help I have to offer. That's what gets me up in the mornings. That's what brings me in with a smile on my face. That's one of the few things that give me purpose. I've never come to work thinking oooh I get to make so and so look incompetent today. I'm just here for the kids.
