Well, my home is on a farm, 15 minutes to the nearest store or restaurant. No cell coverage, TV and internet are both satellite (the internet is the worst). I'm only 45 minutes from Raleigh, so culture is not too far away. I miss being closer to it, though. I'm having a hard time in the old farm house, and an even harder time trying to keep a good relationship with my wife's relatives who are all politically and religiously conservative. My wife is not, but she never wants to talk about anything... So, I'm here, hoping to get into some good conversations, stretch my brain a little, as it were.
