I don't think Tibs is Puppetmaster, I really don't. And I don't doubt his good intentions, either.
The fact is that any power the staff has at all is only there because ... Tibs has delegated it. He's not a dictator, but it's the nature of power dynamics that we humans tend to give fealty to those who grant us power; we tend to adopt their views.
I'm done with this. I don't mind being the squeaky wheel, but clearly I'm slowing the train down, and I don't wanna do that.
