I'd have to go back and read the discussion but it was my understanding that there was at least broad support for most of what you had proposed with perhaps some differences over the details. The next step would have been to create a thread to formalize the discussion and vote. That never happened.

It was my impression throughout that you may have been too emotionally close to the situation to see the forest through all the trees.

I personally didn't understand why you left when the process had scarcely started.
