This is very true. The way to Asgard in the Nordic Religions was a rainbow bridge called "bifrost". It is also guarded by Heimdal, who has a sharp sword (sharp ends), and to fall off would be disasterous, meaning that instead of going to the mighty mead halls of Odin, Thor, and the Aesir in Valhalla, you would fall to Hellheim or Niflheim. Usually to travel the bridge, you would need a valkyrie to help you across. The valkyrie were said to be very swift, being shown riding winged horses. So they would swiftly cross the bridge in that fashion (blink of an eye). Some Vikings could attempt to cross the bridge themselves (crossing slowly), but all Viking dead were to be judged by heimdal near its end, and either he let you past or he fought you off.
Now Rayaan..this is the part where you say Bifrost isnt ANYTHING like string theory..and only YOUR religion can claim string theory.
