The only thing that matters is how people feel. And that it's none of anyone's business to tell them how they should feel.
Fuck me that's a dangerous sentiment.
I mean, by all means feel and do what you want -barring hurting others- but let's not devolve into feels over reals shall we?
While I do agree with the sentiment of wikipedia being unreliable, how people feel does not negate facts. And in that specific instant, Wikipedia would be correct: a person with XXX chromosomes would be a biological female (and 99.7% of the time she would identify as such) and a person with XXY or XYY chromosomes would be a biological male and also almost certainly identify as one. And afaik sex chromosome trisomy isn't very serious symptom wise.
While I appreciate the idea of breaking gender stereotypes and questioning gender roles, a gender identity does not a gender make. To say that there are more than two genders is simply put unscientific. No one can be neither gender. Our physiology and behaviors are influenced by it severely, on multiple levels as a result of evolution. They can 'not identify' with either gender - and that is all fine by me.
