In these passages homosexuality is condemned as a prime example of sin, a sexual perversion. The Christian can neither alter God's viewpoint nor depart from it. You seem to be doing so, how are you managing it? Just ignoring them?

The Christian (I) sees them as to'ebah, breaking the law of ritual, of the levitical laws. Lots of Christians eat shellfish and wear blends. I have sex with my wife on her period. Jesus told us that the law of condemnation needed regulating through reason and compassion. I don't know why most Christians still accost homosexuals yet wear kilts (if your male) or pants (if you're female). They're at the same level legalistically. I'm not ignoring them at all, but I don't see it referring to homosexuality. Chery picking them as you did even on their own,, they wouldn't apply to lesbians.. great news. all you lesbians are safe

If you look at it in the long list of ritualistic sins you'll clearly see they're practicing pagan sex rites, and that is a bad thing to have prostitutes in Church.

This passage does not refer to gay sex generally, but only to a specific form of homosexual prostitution in Pagan temples. Much of Leviticus deals with the Holiness Code which outlined ways in which the ancient Hebrews were to be set apart to God. Some fertility worship practices found in early Pagan cultures were specifically prohibited; ritual same-sex behavior in Pagan temples was one such practice.

That is probably the toughest bible verse for gays to get around. I don't understand why a gay person would even want to remain a christian after reading such a verse, but I spose that's a whole 'nother thread.

Agreed, I'm more interested in why Christians can justify saying that homosexuality is not always a sin. Tackattack seems to have declined to answer the question.
