Politically Toxic

Hypothetically , let's say that political correctness never happened. The social situations are the same as when PC began. Sexist and racist humor is creating a negative environment in the workplace for women and minorities. How would this be better handled without political correctness? How should a woman that works in a male dominated industry confront the daily jokes and innuendos that are  making her uncomfortable and impeding her career plans?

PC is nothing but a band aid or aspririn. Both fight the symptoms, but not the underlying desease.

If you want to something against the desease, you better find a therapy for it and not just sweep it under the carpet. I don't have any numbers, but I would be very surprised if mobbing against minorities or sexual assault on women or other incidences along these lines gew less frequent with the introduction of the PC culture.
