To be fair this is a thread on an all's welcome atheist forum. He's hardly knocking on the doors of the theists here.
I've made hypotheticals about stuff I don't believe, but find interesting before. (Maintaining antithiesm after being presented with proof... so becoming an antitheistic theist. Boy did THAT one backfire on me) People get worked up over hypotheticals that ask them to assume a theistic premise is true in my experience, questioning of credentials and accusations of wooism, I've learnt my lesson.
Threads point: Not everyone is saved according to bible/particular believers:
Depending on who is/isn't saved, What does this say about the:
-bible's portrayal of God?
-The believers?
and then, assuming that the believer/bible is correct, what does this say about:
-the character of God? and thus
-the followers?
Or shall a new thread be made?
