Roots Colorism Fustration

So over the holiday me and my family had a rather heated discussion about race colorism and the affects it was having on my little cousins. The discussion came up I suppose because my little cousin told her sister that only she was black Jazz Mexican. I told Lilly told her sister was black too but she is also Latina. Im just so tired of when people claim of the other parts their heritage then we don't get be black anymore. It's honestly wearing thin as a multiracial person.

I don't know why theres hangs ups with race at all it seems there are other things to worry about that should be more important. We all came out of Africa after all.
