Oh and hey so I'm super confused now? About ny namesake Flugstad? Haha i always thought it's Norwegian! It's not german, or it would have a t at the end I think.. So, yeah. Super confused. Then again many people changed their names here in the US to sound less.. German? During WW2.
Like I said, it's a surname over here, but it doesn't mean anything, except for the parts I described earlier. A lot of places in Norway are called something that ends with "stad," so it might have been an old farm name or something. :
