Long long ago, I felt a need to have one bible be THE Bible. KJV1611 made the cut.

Methodist church ladies gave me an NIV (which I still have) upon completing confirmation class, Pat Robertson uses NIV, so we know that one is SATAN endorsed.

I have an old family bible, huge thing, falling apart, births and deaths recorded in it. Also have a Good News For Modern Man, paperback, I think the church ladies ponied up that one too.

The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
