I said this in a different topic also, which is that God causes evil and suffering in this world to make us reflect on the good things in our life as well, because without any suffering in the world, we won't be able to truly appreciate the good things in life. There are opposite things in the world just like there is night and day, love and hate, ugly and beauty, hot and cold, happiness and sadness, and so on. These polar qualities exist to make us more aware of the dual nature of life. However, some people tend to focus more on the negative things in life which re-inforces their disbelief in God even more.
In Islam, it is also believed that God's forgiveness is greater on you when you are suffering from things like sickness, cancer, injury, natural disaster, etc.
Holy bullshit Rayaan! In all probability, God doesn't exist.
If he/she or it does, I don't share your worship of him/her/it.
Of course we can know good things in life, equally we experience bad things too. Equaly true, opposites exist...it's how we humans express our experiences. These things have nothing to do with superstition, they are just aspects of living a life.
And I don't give a tuppeny fuck about how you claim your improbable god chooses to grant forgiveness. Your imaginary god is as much a twat as the xtian imaginary one.
A man is born to a virgin mother, lives, dies, comes alive again and then disappears into the clouds to become his Dad. How likely is that?
