MLK cared not only about blacks but said himself, when you care for minorities you help even yourself. How anyone equates that to laziness or a handout is bullshit. 

Now your fucking scapegoating asshole demagogue preyed off right wing fear. That asshole spent 5 years painting Obama as "other". It worked so well that we have tape of McCain in a town hall and about the only one who really did anything, we have tape of him telling a brainwashed white lady that Obama was not a secret Muslim. Trump sold Obama's 8 years of RECOVERY successfully as a failure. Has a bigoted VP who preyed also off of white people who read the bible and justify denying equality to LGBT. He started his campaign bating Hispanics, scapegoating those fleeing from war, even attacked war heros. 

And on the weekend of MLK's holiday attacked a Civil Rights leader, who got beaten up and arrested because of the white bible based Christianity of his time. You want me to think there was no intent in that to bait people? BULLSHIT.

So here is how equality works without using religiously based race baiting.

THAT is how you do it. This is just all optics for Trump. He isn't going to do fucking shit for poor rural whites either.

Same with Hispanics.

Again bullshit, there are on average about 80,000 sexual assault reports every year in America, the majority of those accused or convicted are going to MOSTLY be people born here with legal citizenship. I have TWO Hispanic families living on both sides of me, never had the cops show up or seen any of them accused of rape, and I don't give ONE FUCK about their legal status either, what matters to me is that they are a fellow human being, and I will not fear anyone until that INDIVIDUAL gives me something to fear.

The right way to put it without being a dick, would be "We should deport violent individuals who don't have legal documentation". Nobody would or should disagree with that.  No need to talk about national origin. People from even Europe have stayed illegally and some also commit crimes. Not because they are from Europe or Mexico or any nation, but because when you force people into hiding, and you don't give them a means to survive, any human can become desperate, the same goes for why mostly white rural West Virginia has an opiate heroine problem.  And even down here where I live in the sticks I see reports of crimes of WHITEs accused of drug possession and sales and violence. 

Trump is a dangerous demagogue, and there simply is no polite way to put it. He didn't simply attack Obama, or one individual or one group. He sold fear of everyone else, used hyper nationalism, aimed vile bullshit everywhere carpet bombing everyone, even cannibalized his own to win the nomination. He aimed his vitriol at everyone. 

I don't like Steve Harvey as an individual, not because he is black. I also don't begrudge him for having more or making more. But I also know he is deeply religious and makes the same flaws in logic that Reginald Finley the "Infidel Guy" and even Neil Tyson would see through. I don't like Steve for purely issues of logic and siding with a party that wants to turn back the clock on minorities rights. Same issue with women, sure you can vote for Trump, no law against it, but why? Steve and women and Hispanics and even Vets, shoot themselves in the foot voting for that party.

And LGBT as well, our nation up till a decade ago gave no equal rights to LGBT, Mike Pence as a VP pick is a reaction to a big enough minority of assholes on the right, freaking out now because they no longer control the narrative as to what it means to be an American or even what it means to be religious. 


This is not sour grapes for the left one bit. Even the right says "Trump is different" the left agrees, but not in a good way. We have seen in the past what political demagoguery has done with McCarthyism and Jim Crow and WW2 Germany, and any European Jew old enough to have lived that can tell you now that Trump is not a road of political tactic you want spreading.

How in the world did you come to these conclusions about me by reading my last post?  I think you're all losing it.  I thought I was talking about Steve Harvey trying to help people in the inner cities and how you guys are trying to condemn him.  Did I say something about illegal immigrants not being nice - and all that other stuff?

We condemn Steve Harvey not because he is black, or even because he moved up the ladder, we condemn him because he hitched himself to a bigoted asshole demagogue and cannot see himself he is hurting the very people he claims he wants to help.

If you support Trump then you support an asshole who vilified people I personally know, that is where my neighbors come in. If Harvey Supports Trump then he is shitting on Martin Luther king Jr and John Lewis's actions that paved the way for Obama to be a SUCCESSFUL IVY LAW SCHOOL GRADUATE. Trump spent five years painting Obama as "other" to get votes from right wing bigots. Trump chose anti LGBT VP Pence to get support from white white wing bible based bigots. So if you support him again you are supporting a demagogue who has vilified people I personally know.
