We're weight twins, I think. I started last year at 240, by far the heaviest I've ever been. Now I should be a little under 190.
Have you ever been 160 as an adult? I weighed 165 in high school and had a fairy waist. I'm open to the possibility of setting for a little more than 170 but I'd rather at least try that out. Deciding on a target weight is harder than deciding to start losing.
Was there a reason that you decided to take it off when you did? For me it was the feeling that if I don't do it now that I'm retired, when will I?

Yeah, I think it is like a slow form of suicide. I'm fortunate to not have so much to have to lose, compared to most. But I'm from a family riddled with type 2 diabetes and early heart disease so it would be foolish for me not to lose.
