It takes a huge amount of individuality, nerve, strength, and mental discipline to sift through the nonsense of religion on one's own....especially when you've knocked at its door in a time of great loss, seeking some degree of solace....
...and even more so when you don't want to upset your loved ones who are also seeking solace,
and when your friends keep telling you that you're wrong.
