It's all the other things that come packaged with it that're the problem. It's a negative feedback loop, a self-reinforcing echo chamber where grownups play at witches and wizards and nobody tells them it's not real.

You're right, it doesn't. But then it's not meant to. It's been said that asking what replaces religion is like asking what kind of disease you want to replace the flu. Atheism, for me, is an adblocker, allowing me to go about my day without having Jesus spam popping up all the bloody time.
