Question about death to Atheists.

Here's the thing, death in the bible is defined as 'separation', not the "end of a process", which is why Jesus on occasion refereed to the dead, as "asleep", if Jesus referred to someone as "dead" it meant they were separated from God (in Hell).

I don't even know what that is supposed to mean.

That being said, I've made no claims on life after death personally, I choose to believe what the Bible says about it, and what the Bible states is that when we (the believer) leave our current body, there is another body waiting for us.

You believe it, I don't.

For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. - 2 Corinthians 5:1

This is a promise to everyone who is willing to believe.

I've chosen to accept it as truth, and my only obligation is to inform others who are willing to accept it also, not to convince the doubters.

Fair enough. I see it as a silly belief, but each to their own I suppose.
