Hmmm no. Alexander the Great was considered a god and yet he didn't do that. Or Ramses 2nd. And really what is definition of God? Must god have some sort of superpowers like flying or walking trough walls to be considered God? Jose Luis de Jesus Miranda claimed to be the Jesus, and the people who fill his church seem to believed him. Most Christians would reject his claim, of course, but based on what? If ancient Macedonians and Greeks said Alexander was a god, then who are we to say otherwise?
