Speaking as someone who feels no white guilt, I don't think the native Americans have anyone to be grateful to.
The European settlers had no intention of improving the lives of Native Americans, the fact that Native Americans benefit from the use of some inventions that white people came up with is just an unintentional result of the civilization that lives there in America now.
The same way all the civilizations who invaded Britain didn't do it to give the people baths, aquaducts and straight roads.
There shouldn't be any collective guilt or pride for achievements or atrocities carried out by any particular race. To me someone who promites white guilt is just as illogical as someone who promotes white pride.
As for just being grateful towards the technology they now, they probably are. It depends on how much they like the situation in now vs the civilization that min described, no taxes, beavers, buffalo, women do all the work and you've got a medicine man.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
Impersonation is treason.
