Same here -- "Expert" in the USAF. Qualified quarterly as a Prime BEEF troop, never shot lower than 38/40 on the M-16A1.
Had to look 40/40 up. Sound like some damn fine shootin. I'm assuming peep site. What is the target size/diameter? At my age, 300 meters is on the outer range of my accuracy without a scope.
