Good, I hope. Been thinking about yall.
I've got 84 days sober now. So I succeeded at that. But I totally failed at staying an atheist.
I'm tempted to make snarky comments about my own credulity in getting religion, but I'm a theist now. And I guess I've got to commit to that. Which is weird.
Oh well. I'll still celebrate atheist holidays (well I would if there were any) and read Sean Carroll's blog religiously. Ha ha...yeah.
Guess I'll go pray or something!
In that case, I will keep you in my daily prayers. In the mean time please know you can pm me anytime and that I'm here to listen. <3

Why are you a theist now? I got sober as an atheist and have stayed sober for over 25 years as an atheist.
If you're sober, you did it, not some magical sky fairy.
Who cares? If that's what works for her and she has found peace/strength in it, let her be. She's fighting a hard fight and just needs support now.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."
