I admit that sometimes I don't get all the facts down, but at least I know Paris is the capital of France. But are you considering that no religion means smarter people overall?
It is uncertain how many people, when deprived of existing religion as a means to indulge in their infantile contempt for intellectual integrity, will not simply embrace or invent another, like homeopathic medicine and new age wellness bullshit. But it probably would means there will be less inveterate, systematic and organized rabble rousing against efforts of people who do value intellectual integrity.
