There is always that.  I would also consider companionship, profession or a life's work, bucket list accomplishments, financial goals, as well as spirituality.  Wasn't looking to proselytize anyone, I attempt to reserve that for the Christian based threads.

Yeah, not at all.  Haven't found you to be a pushy god-botherer.  If I had, I'd never have set you up like that.

Yes. 5 kids and only one left at home. I'm 47 years old. I used to be high speed , low drag but now I'm low speed high drag.

There goes another stereotype. I'm biologically responsible for no one and I don't think I've ever given 'reproduction' as such a serious thought. No regrets.

Of course if you had any regrets, it wouldn't be okay to voice them. Parents have to be gungho at all times it seems. I did help raise my stepson since he was 6 and I had 5 younger siblings to provide me with a life time of memories regarding diapers. I wonder if I'd have had some wanderlust for the experience otherwise. Some how I doubt it. I may just be naturally selfish and self centered.
