But, yes, be sure that I will be following up on this one and have bookmarked this post for future reference! If I am wrong in my hunches, then I will apologize to the board, publicly! But, I suspect that the home did not have any fire alarms and/or fire extinguishers, and if so, such was due to the ignorance (and arrogance) of the parents, and yes, I lay that firmly at the feet of organized religion. No apologies whatsoever for that!
I guess what I'm saying is that in the absence of support, your hunches are only hunches, and worth every penny I've paid for them.

Yeah, I do think that faith does lead to tragedies, like people flying airplanes into buildings. I really have had enough of postmodern bullshit, haven't you?
How am I being post-modernist? I'm only asking that you support your premise with facts. Maybe in your world that's a new-fangled thing, but me, when I read someone going off half-cocked, I ask questions.
I can understand that you might be uncomfortable in this sort of regimen, but it's unrealistic of you to expect me to take your words at face value. You've assigned blame based on their faith when you yourself have admitted that you don't know that's the case. I'm skeptical of that assignation.
There's a big difference between an accidental fire and a deliberate terrorist attack. Religion was at the heart of the latter, but that doesn't mean it motivates everything, especially in the absence of evidence.
