According to wall painting, The game seems to involve young boys and young girls facing charging bull wearing no protection other than loin cloth. No weapons, no padding, no red capes to distract the bull. At the critical time the contestant is to face the charge bull square on, gasp the bull by horns literally, and sumersault over the head and back of the bull and land on his or her feet behind the bull.
Modern bullfighters are absolute wusses by comparison to the minoans.
