With the religious terrorism of this day, it seems many horrific things have been done in the name of religion.
It doesn't have to be a religion alive today, just some religion (historical and/or modern) that you consider to have been the most deadly.
Well I guess it depends if you are talking about per capita or total numbers. In terms of total numbers Christianity and Islam are by far number one, just because there are so many more people in modern times. If you are talking per capita, well the Mongol wars were the most devastating, but I wouldn't really call them religiously motivated. I mean most religiously motivated wars were done by Christianity and Islam, so it's still one of those.
