To paraphrase RT Carroll, the main bulwark for astral projection is in the form of anecdotes from people who, rather than being out of their bodies, were much more likely to have been out of their minds.
Bos, I've long offered the Carl Sagan test for this one (so far, no takers): I have placed a copy of a well-known book here on my desk. The title of the book is clearly printed on the cover. Astral projecters are invited to zip round here, read the title, return to their bodies and tell me the title of the book.
