Bos, I've long offered the Carl Sagan test for this one (so far, no takers): I have placed a copy of a well-known book here on my desk. The title of the book is clearly printed on the cover. Astral projecters are invited to zip round here, read the title, return to their bodies and tell me the title of the book.

How, exactly, would one investigate metaphysics?
There are a couple of problems with your test.
First it assumes one can astrally project at will, the second assumes astral projection somehow makes you clairvoyant.
