According to the TV show "Lucifer", the universe came into being after two celestial beings known as "god" and "mom", met and had sex.

Hence "Big Bang" is quite appropriate.

And since "mom" is played by Tricia Helfer, it's quite understandable, too...

Playing Cluedo with my mum while I was at Uni:
