Just wanted to bring to everyone's attention a very very sad incident that took place in the barbaric country that is Pakistan, my home too unfortunately, I am an atheist myself and I would dare not say it to anyone because of such incidents.
Anyway, A student of a university who was curious about religion and got into dangerous debates with his fellow students was lynched, thrown from the 3rd floor, shot and stripped by a mob of vicious animals, who were his hostel mates and university fellows.

and why was all this done? Well, because the mob suspected he had commited blasphemy. That is he had defamed the prophet of islam Muhummad.
I was extremely unsettled by the news, and the horrific video was even more unpleasant. I am an atheist myself converted from islam and hate this joke of a religion, I have committed "blasphemy" myself among my close friends who are tolerant. But now, this mob has successfully shut my voice and I would dare not utter a word against this religion atleast till i'm here.
Please read this story, share it and try to honor this brave person who was unfortunate enough to be among these animals
May his murder not be in vain.

I have so much empathy for that victim and those who live in fear in general. It is also why I hate our right wing Christians in the west, and even a few "ban em all" Trump voting atheists, whom don't see that while the east is still far too theocratic, there are those in those countries who do question and don't like the far right nuts that surround them.
I have been on line for 16 years and I cannot begin to tell you how many former Muslims I run into, and even liberal Muslims that escaped that brutality or still live in fear of being a target.
I really get angry at the right because far to many think everyone in the east are monsters. But I also get upset with the well intended liberals, being one myself, whom think censorship all the time will solve things.
I do value questioning and even protecting blasphemy, but I also refuse to assume the guilt of an individual as a starting point.
