It is perfectly possible to believe in souls just as something you do, but if you've looked into the fact that there isn't even a cogent explanation of what a soul could be "immaterial substance" means nothing by the way then you are deluding yourself and that is a hallmark of an idiot.
What is this evidence that you speak of?
