Just to be clear, I'm not arguing against naturally occurring evolution, I only think the lay-proponents of the Neo-Darwin synthesis are dogmatically opposed to recent rival naturalistic theories because they are scared of a theistic boogeyman.

A) Why would we be scared of something shown to not exist, Wooters?

B) You've a long history of putting feelers out in support of certain tenuous positions, and then whipping them back in pronto when it turns out said support is untenable. This recent reverse ferreting over creatardism is just the most recent.
