I don't think anyone "decides" to believe something. It's a state of becoming convinced of something. And you aren't 'born' with beliefs because as an infant you lack the mental capacity to consider and react to assertions. If you're acknowledging that your belief is not able to be demonstrated...what reasons, or "grounds" do you have to believe it?
