I wonder what kind of a gun it is. I'm fairly certain that aliens who can cross thousands of light years of interstellar space aren't going to be stymied by a blob of lead being squirted out of the nozzle of a gun. Maybe Scott's been to 'Phasers R Us' or sommat.
