How exactly not eating, or drinking water can be good for you, while the best diet is to eat frequently and in lesser portions, and drinking water at least as much as you lost? In here(Turkey), doctors always warn people who will fast in ramadan to be careful, and not to work if possible(which isn't). It has no scientifically proved benefit, but lots of dangers, it can be fatal to diabetics and it is harmful to everyone, and it certainly not good for losing weight. Actually it's impossible to lose weight by muslim way of fasting, there is a better chance to get fatty because of the glory of iftar* meals...
