So, your definition of trek nerd is basically an intelligent/fun, unique, and thoughtful individual?  I find your definition very interesting.  Live long and prosper.

Most Trekkies I have meet fit that definition.

But I consider myself a Trek nerd because I have a TNG uniform hanging up in my wardrobe (medical blue, of course), along with a ToS phaser pistol and tricorder.

And only recently did I throw away my Klingon dictionary.
