Aww thank you! ♡
I do want to visit New Zealand someday!! Gorgeous pics I've seen out of there, and I'm a photographer so .. yeah.
Sorry Ignoramus didn't mean to jack your thread! Personally I don't understand why people think that consciousness is anything other than the manifestations of experiences stored by the brain and expressed genetically tbroughout the body. In order to understand something, one must know it's limits. Study the extreme examples and you can get a good idea about the subject at hand. Consciousness can be altered with the alteration of the brain. Who you are, is dependent on your current version of your brain. If you get hit in the head with a 2x4, suffer brain damage in just the right place, live in a coma till your body rewires, then you can wake up an entirely different person! There are many medical examples of this.

If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.
